With increasing calls for sustainability and transparency in the beauty and fashion industries, luxury fashion houses are stepping up to the task: just look at Hermès’ growing sustainable beauty line. Their foray into the beauty industry began quite recently, with the first Rouge Hermès stepping into the world right before the pandemic began in 2020. Since then, they’ve not only launched a few staples for beauty enthusiasts, but they’ve also mastered the fashion-to-beauty shift like no other brand.
Rouge Hermès was the first to join the Hermès beauty family, and with a unique design by Pierre Hardy, the packaging is proudly functional and refillable. A durable object in lacquered, polished, and brushed metal, Rouge Hermès is protected by a canvas pouch and slipped inside its renowned orange box!
The Rouge Hermès Spring-Summer 2022 collection introduces three new limited-edition colours with a shiny finish, following a palette inspired by a garden filled with light and water. What its glossy finish means is a melting texture with a fresh feel, very similar to a beautifully subtle tinted veil of light on the lips.
An incredible asset to the second era of the Hermès beauty is the Lip Enhancers, developed in three rosy shades to reveal the natural beauty of your lips. The rosy lip enhancer melts smoothly over the lips with a fine and delicate waxy finish, leaving a hint of transparent pink and a matte luminosity – all thanks to sesame seed and raspberry seed oils, the stars in a rich formula to help soften and nourish.
The lippies and enhancers are produced in refillable packaging, with the refills being sold separately; trust me, once you get your hands on them, you will never live without them!
With the second chapter of Hermès beauty comes a range of seven rosy blushes along with two brushes for the most luxurious beauty experience. The blushes have a semi-matte finish, delivering a delicate, long-lasting, and radiant complexion.
Just like the Rouge Hermès, its packaging is refillable. Pierre Hardy has designed it with an on-the-go aesthetic in mind, and now, you can complement your little goodie with an exquisite Pommette leather blush case in fuchsia.
A precious highlighter, aka Poudre D'Orfrevre, is the perfect partner to your rosy cheeks. This goldish piece has a fine, melting texture with metallic reflectors for that golden mother-of-pearl finish. The packaging is an authentic piece of art designed by Pierre Hardy, enclosed in a white lacquered circle bearing the Hermès ex-libris signature.
Les Mains Hermès is the third chapter of the Hermès Beauty journey, with all the essentials for that perfect at-home manicure. The line includes hand care cream, nourishing oil for nails and cuticles, a protective base coat, nail enamels, a top coat, and a set of nail files to upgrade your hand care kit.
The show's stars are undoubtedly their nail enamels, available in 24 different shades, so you can wear them all year long and keep your hands happy and thriving. The nail polish provides radiant and powerful colour with a long-lasting lacquered shine. Its fluid texture leaves a fine, smooth film on the nail, and its formula is made in France, composed of more than 70% ingredients of natural origin.
